I’m an IT Pro in the UK, living in Hampshire and working in London.

I work with a variety of (primarily Microsoft related) products, including IAG, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, AppSense, SoftGrid and Office Communications Server.  I’ve been in IT since 1998, and I’ve been contracting since 2006.

Outside of work I have a couple of hobbies which can take up significant amounts of both time and money!

Technical theatre is something I’ve been involved with since I was at school.  I currently provide technical services to amateur groups based at the Phoenix Arts Centre in Bordon, Hampshire.  I mainly do lights, but can also sometimes be found doing some sound.

My other hobby (the more expensive one, overall) is flying.  I’ve been training for my NPPL(M) with SolentFlight, flying out of a small grass airfield just inside the Southampton airport zone.  I first went solo in November 2007, but haven’t flown since February 2008, initially due to weather, but then a busy time at work has meant that I’ve not had the energy or the inclination to go flying at the weekends.  I’m hoping to rectify that soon!
