David McWee has just announced the release of the ECTS Extension, available now from the CodePlex site.
The extension adds a number of useful features and options to ECTS, which I will be investigating with interest, as I am using it at the moment, but in its ‘vanilla’ form, which has some shortcomings, some of which I’ve blogged about before.
I was wondering if you could explain to me the web.config setting that are required for the following. I figure I need to go in with the ADSI ADAM
Active Account Site Association
1. Add an application setting with the key RequestSite to the web.config for your internal site. The value should be unique to any other ECTS enabled site you may have.
2. Add an application setting with the key RequestSiteAdField to the web.config for your internal site. The value should be an AD or ADAM field that will store the site where user account request originated.
3. Add an application setting with the key ADFieldMultiValue to the web.config for your internal site. The value should reflect whether the AD/ADAM field you referenced in step 2 is a multivalue (true) field or not (false).
Hi Stephen, I’m afraid I can’t help with this – its not a setting we’ve implemented.
Sorry I can’t be of assistance.
